With the Muslims around the globe busy observing fasts, attending to the prayers and other religious duties in the month of Ramadan, members of Students Islamic Organisation of India, Mehdipatnam unit seized this opportunity to give an introduction of Ramadan and thereby Islam to the non-Muslims at Mehdipatnam bus-stops yesterday morning.

Cadre of SIO distributed folders to the passersby at the bus stops in English and Telugu which explained about Ramadan and Islam. They also discussed about the holy month briefly with the students and elders.

Around 2000 people were reached through this activity. Non-Muslim students and elders happily received the Dawah material. The response was excellent, co-operative and enthusiastic. It created a mood of mutual understanding and cultural harmony among the people.
