SIO Karnataka condemns military atrocities in Egypt
Udipi chapter of Students’ Islamic Organisation of India condemned the violence that has erupted in Egypt and staged a stir in Udupi near the clock tower on Monday.

Addressing the protesters, SIO member Husain Kodi Bengre said that ousting of a government which had been elected in a democratic way is undoubtedly a setback to the spirit of democracy across the world. “The military rule in Egypt at present is resorting to violation of human rights,” he said demanding the Indian government to not just raise voice against the injustice but also call back the diplomats deputed in Egypt.

Leader of JIH Udupi, Idris Hoode held America responsible for the instability in Egypt and said that if at all America believed in true spirit of democracy then this uprooting of democracy would have never happened in Egypt.
“If a democratic rule finds its root in Middle Eastern countries then the American capitalist forces cannot manipulate and overpower those countries. Hence military rule and authoritarianism is being promoted in such countries where the US wants to show its supremacy. He said that Mohommad Morsi government must be reinstated.

SIO members Nihal Hoode, Yasin Kodibengre among others were present at the protest.
