Jabalpur chapter of the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) issued a memorandum to the SP of Police, Jabalpur through the TI Ranjhi police station regarding the harassment of girls of ST/SC hostel on 11th Jan 2014.

SIO demanded strict action against the culprits, strong police protection, patrolling in girls zone and installation of CCTV cameras in and around the girls zone areas. Zonal Secretary Hassan Ahmad and Campus Secretary Rashid Ansari along with other members handed over the memorandum.
