SIO Celebrates 30thFoundation Day

New Delhi (19.10.2011): “SIO in the 29 years has been striving for the educational, spiritual and moral development of the students throughout the country”, emphasised Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad, Former President,Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO). Mr. Ahmad was addressing the gathering on the occasion of ‘Students Day’ celebrated to commemorate the 30thFoundation Day of SIO at its Headquarters.

He further said, “SIO has nurtured individuals who have deep sense of responsibility towards their society and nation, socially andintellectually. SIO’s outreach amongst the student community is the testingstone to analyse its ideology and impact on the society”. “I congratulate thepast and the present pupil of the organisation for the success of the caravan that began 29 years back”, he added.

Mr. Suhail KK, Former President, SIO said “Peace is the symbolic representation of SIO’s message, which is manifested in its flag. Through means of study, struggle, service SIO is encouraging the younger generations to contribute to the society. SIO can be metaphor to that of a fruit tree thatyields fruits for all irrespective of who’s who of the society”.

National Secretaries – Shaukath Ali, Irshad Hussain, Asif Aliand Shaikh Shoaib; Former Secretary General, Mohd. Nayyar; Zonal President, SIODelhi, Anis-ur-Rehman and other dignitaries were present.
