Round table conference with dignitaries for EFLU students Justice

Br.Abrar Ali (State P.R sec SIO AP) Representing SIO’s stand and support to the rusticated students issue of EFLU at a round table conference organised by Students Forum for Justuce.

He said, SIO extended the solidarity with the students of EFLU with its following demands:

1. Withdrawal of undemocratic rustication orders for the three students.
2. Removal of VC of EFLU as she has completely failed to maintain the healthy educational and democratic environment of the campus. and

3. Expresses the solidarity with the student community of EFLU and condemns the authorities’ action of suspension of students.

“SIO demands the immediate rollback of suspension orders from the university authorities and to restore the environment of free democracy, trust and healthy fabric of the campus.”

Before the round table conference rally organised by the students of various universities in Hyderabad was a grand success. It showed the spirit of democracy among the student community and their strong vigor to struggle against the damaging elements of educational institutions trying to suppress the freedom of speech, expression, protest and rightful demands of the students.

Representative of SIO along with other members addressed the protesting students and said that its very alarming and unfortunate that undemocratic people have taken over the realms of educational campuses and trying to turn them into a police campus. Ironically for each protesting student three police men were deployed.
