From this Academic year Government of India is Going to conduct one common Entrance Exam for Medical Admission, Namely NEET (National Eligibility cum-Entrance Test) to be held on Sunday 5th May 2013.The Exam paper of this test will be Supplied in 8 Languages which do not include Urdu, Although there are Hundreds of Urdu Medium Science Jr.colleges, in the country.

Maharashtra alone has 168 Urdu medium Science Jr.colleges. while Andhra Pradesh has 50 such colleges, which are also found in other states like, Karnataka, J&K,Bihar ,West Bengal etc,the last date to apply for this test with the penalty of Rs-1000/-,is 31st January 2013.

SIO Demands for provision of Exam paper for this test in Urdu language to Govt of India.

SIO also appeal Government of India to extend the date of Application along with waving off late fees. Since students cannot be held responsible for this omission on part of the authorities, especially Government. It is against the spirit of the initiatives taken by the UPA Government after the Sachhar Committee Report.
