At least six people were killed and 9 injured in a fire at Naya Nagar slum in Mahim on Friday morning (25th Jan). More than 50 two-storey huts were destroyed and about 60 students lost their books and bags with exams round the corner. Cadre of Students Islamic organization conducted a survey, interacted with students and counselled them. They assured them for provision of their books and basic amenities.

SIO conducted survey of their medium of Education, subjects chosen and successfully provided them Educational belongings containing bags, note books, Text books, compass box and other study material. This boosted the student’s moral to fight with circumstances and to handle the crisis without affecting their studies.
