Deeni Madaris students must study the new voices of Islam: SIO President

It is interesting that the new voices are not generated from mainstream institutions of Islam, but from social and political realities. Texts are being re-read in the modern context. Deeni madaris students need to come to forefront and lead in solving the different social issues”, said Suhail KK, President, SIO of India. He was inaugurating the Two-days national level deeni madaris workshop at Lucknow.

Workshops were organized in order to set the orientation & strategy of works in deeni madaris. Three different workshops were held nationwide dividing into North, West and South India – Lucknow (22-23 May), Malda (25-26) Bangalore (9-10 June). Abul Aala Subhani (National Deeni Madaris Organiser) presided over the meetings. Shibli Arsalan and Omair Anas spoke in different sessions. Deeni madaris organisors of different deeni madaris of the country were present in the workshop.
