Student Islamic Organisation, Parli Unit (Maharashtra South Zone) successfully organized Islamic knowledge test (IKT)…Connecting Hearts on 20thJanuary2013 at Milind MahaVidhyalay Parli. Hundreds of students from all the campuses throughout the city participated in the test and share their views.

The test was conducted on the Book “Islam Probodh (Marathi)” written by Maulana Syed AbulAalaMaudoodi in which he expressed the basic knowledge about Islam and the philosophical solution to different worldly issues. Students showed enthusiasm to give the test and views about the book.

SIO believes that knowing each other’s religion, discussing problems and finding out the solutions, interacting each other, coming closer irrespective of religion would give a peaceful, healthy, and better society moreover to bridge the gap between the other religions and to remove the misconceptions about Islam.
During this, SIO cadre meet more than 1000 students throughout the city in different colleges, campuses, are shaping their minds towards betterment, and convincing them to be a part in making a better tomorrow.

The award Ceremony was held on 27th January at Natraj Rang Mandir Parli, in which Quazi Mujeeb Sahab (Member Jamat-e-Islami Hind) , Sanjay Survase , Syed Naser Husain ( Ex. Zonal Secretary SIO South Maharashtra ) and Syed Athar Ali (Local President SIO Parli) addressed the gathering. The toppers were felicitated by the eminent personalities.
