Chennai: A Renowned Human Rights Activist and Educationist Prof. Ramu Manivannan from University of Madras appreciated SIO for its work on education. He had chaired the session on ‘Alternative Education’ at the Kerala Education Congress organised by SIO. Sharing his experience with State PR Sec.Br.Sirajul Hasan in an interview, he said, “I was moved by the way SIO conducted the program. It was well organised and effective.” He further said that SIO workers were very friendly, educative and highly disciplined. He appreciated the energy, enthusiasm and efficiency of the students and volunteers.

He advised the organisation to hold good discussions on Education and Human development and address the issues such as school drop-outs.
