HRD Cell of SIO Inaugurated


New Delhi: The Human Resource Development (HRD) Cell of Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) for the term 2011-12 was recently inaugurated and the first workshop held at the National Headquarters of SIO in New Delhi. SIO Demands A Firm Stand On Ban Against ENDOSULFAN

New Delhi (26.04.2010): The Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) demanded a strong and firm stand from the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh in favour of the ban on ‘Endosulfan’ at the current meeting of the Stockholm Convention. The Secretary General of SIO, PM Salih was addressing a gathering during the anti-endosulfan demonstration at Jantar Mantar after the protest march from Kerala House to Jantar Mantar. Azharuddin, National President met and greeted its Chief Patron, Maulana Syed Jalalluddin Umri on being re-elected as the President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH). Maulana Umri was recently re-elected as the President of JIH by the House of Representatives of JIH. Trad at his office in Embassy of Saudi Arabia, New Delhi.
