SIO stands by the SC/ST reservation issue

Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) actively participated and protested against the discrimination of SC/ST/OBC students during the process of admission in University of Delhi (DU). There were several irregularities in the process of admitting SC/ST/OBC students in DU; colleges were not properly implementing the policy of reservation in admissions. Students for Social Justice protested and organised a relay hunger strike, supported by SIO, Youth for Social Justice, All India Students Association and Krantikari Yuva Sangathan on 30th of July, 2012. Abdur Raqeeb, General Secretary, Indian Centre for Islamic Finance (ICIF), New Delhi in the presence of Mohd.
