New Delhi: Hundreds of students, teachers and civil rights activists from different organizations on Wednesday protested against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at Delhi University. While Modi was delivering a lecture on development inside the auditorium hundreds of people were shouting slogans against him outside. SIO stands by the SC/ST reservation issue


Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) actively participated and protested against the discrimination of SC/ST/OBC students during the process of admission in University of Delhi (DU). There were several irregularities in the process of admitting SC/ST/OBC students in DU; colleges were not properly implementing the policy of reservation in admissions.
