Students Islamic Organisation of India organized a one-day workshop on ‘North Indian Educational movement’ for North Indian state representatives of SIO, on 28th April 2013 at SIO Headquarters in New Delhi. The program started with Inaugural words by Sarwar Hasan, General Secretary of SIO. He shed light on the objective and importance of the workshop and explained the details of the program. SIO’s National Campus Secretary visits Rajasthan

National Campus Secretary of SIO, Br. Khaleeq Ahmed Khan’s 3-day organizational visit of Rajasthan concluded with lectures in three campuses and meets with various student leaders. On the first day, he interacted with students of Sociology at Rajasthan university on the topic “Students for Social Revolution”, in which he described the term ‘revolution’ and discussed the moral obligation of students in bringing a positive change. “The new decision taken by the Union Public Service Commission with respect to the UPSC Civil Service Mains Examinations which do not allow choosing the options of foreign languages like French, German and Arabic to the students as their optional papers is totally illogical and condemnable. New Delhi: The Students Islamic Organisation of India voices concern over the alleged custodial death of the SFI leader, Sudipta Gupta, on 2 April in Kolkata and demands a fare and impartial inquiry into the whole affair. The police should have read the psychology of mob before resorting to lathi-charge as there are other ways to control the mob. The new Website was launched by National President SIO Br. Ashafaq and Qayyim Jamat Janab Nusrat Ali sahab. Qayyim Jamat expressed his happiness over launch of all new website of SIO.
