Government’s Downswing in Social Expenditure in Union Budget 2015 is not a good sign for the People India, SIO

The Union Budget 2015 presented by Mr. Arun Jaitley, the Finance Minister, Government of India (GOI) indicates a considerable downswing in social expenditure, which is not a good sign for the people of India, said the Mr. Iqbal Hussain, the National President, Student Islamic Organisation (SIO) of India in his press release on the issue. SIO National Prez condoles death of Educationist Prof. Syed Hamid


National President of the Students Islamic Organisation of India Ashfaq Ahmed has offered condolences on the death of Prof. Syed Hamid. In a press release, he said ‘’Prof. Hamid will be remembered as one of the most respectable educationists and reformists in modern India”. SIO condemns Peshawar killings; organises protests across the country


The National President of the Students’ Islamic Organisation of India, Ashfaq Ahmed strongly condemned the brutal killing of school children in Peshawar. The deadly attack killed over 130 school children and left several severely injured.  In a press release today, he said that SIO is appalled at this gruesome act of terror which has shamed the humanity. He expressed condolences to the families of the deceased children and has expressed anguish over the failure of International community to tackle terror at the Global level.
