Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), Today filed a petition in Supreme Court against AIPMT dress code through their advocates Mr. Sanjay Dhigde, Mr. Shadan Farasat & Mr. Abubakr Sabbaq Subhani. SIO had sought quashing of the notification issued by the CBSE. SIO of INDIA criticize A dress code mandate by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the All India PMT examination to be held on July 25 for admissions in medical and dental graduation courses, soon after large scale irregularities, Supreme Court pressed to scrap the test on June 17 and ask CBSE to hold the exam again within four weeks. Layeeq Ahmed Khan (National Secretary, SIO of India) said it requires Students to wear light color clothes like half-sleeve shirts, T-shirts and kurtas. In the wake of alleged reports of Vyapam Scam Students Islamic Organisation of India(SIO) demands the High level judicial enquiry into the scandal. Students Islamic Organisation of India demanded the resignation of Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan as the Supreme Court handed over the case to CBI. Mr. Thouseef Madikeri (National Secretary, SIO of India) said that since the Vyapam scam surfaced, so far over 100 medical students have been arrested by the STF, nearly 140 FIRs have been registered & 3,800 accused named. 46 people connected to the scam have lost their lives; SIT probing the scam had …
