National president, SIO of India, Ashfaq Ahmed expresses deep anxiety over the shocking incident in Tamilnadu where students of engineering college hack the principal to death. Referring to the incident national president said that the major problem behind such issues is lack of moral and ethical conduct among students, although there are many students who fulfill their responsibilities as truly professional and ethical citizens but still a large section of the youth are required to be addressed a message of upholding students dignity, lovable and caring attitude towards elders.
Such incidents took place even in past where educators were beaten because of their instructions, if these incidents go on then unhealthy relations between educators and students could rise and in turn effect the knowledge atmosphere. The only way to get rid of this situation is to promote values and ethics in the society so that tolerance, respect and trust find good place in campuses, he added.
