Dawah Orientation Camp by SIO Gulbarga


Gulbarga chapter of the Students Islamic Organisation of India organised a special Dawah Orientation program in order to inculcate the spirit of Dawah among Muslim students. The program started with recitation of Quran by Tahnan Nasheet.  It was followed by a key note lecture on ‘Importance of Dawah in the light of Seerah’ by Ateequr Rahman, Dawah expert. He said that it is responsibility of every Muslim to present Islam to the humanity at large, failing which we will lead to great loss in this world & here after.

Later, practical demonstration session was organised. Bilal Ahmed and Saad Ismail demonstrated how to initiate discussion with an Atheist. Later, Abdul Mannan and Muzammil Siddiqui demonstrated how to initiate discussion with a Hindu friend. This session concluded with expert comments by Ateequr Rahman. He said that the most important aspect in Dawah is identifying the dilemma of other person and his views about God, universe and purpose of life. “Accordingly, convey the message of Islam to him”, he said. The program concluded with concluding speech of Maaz Maniyar, City President SIO Gulbarga.
