1) Lecture on Yaumul Badr:

A lecture on the topic “The message of Yaumul Badr” was conducted by Janaab Nazar Mohammad Madoo Sahab(Ex President JIH Maharashtra) on 5th of August at Patel Masjid after Zohar Salaat. 

2) Dawati Iftaar for Non-Muslim Students:

A unique Dawah Iftaar party was organised by SIO Bhiwandi unit on 5th August. Associates and Members of Bhiwandi Unit had invited their classmates for Iftaar. 15 Non Muslim Students from colleges in and around Bhiwandi attended the iftaar. Janaab Naushad Usman (Editor Shodhan weekly) delivered a speech on “The concept of Fasting in Islam”. There was a open question and answer session conducted after Maghrib Salaat. The session was very interecative with lots of questions from the attendees. The attendees also took advantage of the Dawah book stall. Several books on the fundamentals of Islam  and a copy of Marathi Quran were taken by the delegates.

3) Quran Study Circle:

Ijtam-i-Mutal-e-Quran was organised on the night of 14th August (25th Night of Ramadhan). Brother Khizar Shaikh (Memeber ZAC, SIO MSZ) conducted the program. The last ruku of Surah Hujraat was discussed in detail as part of the program. The program concluded after offering Qayamum lail in congregation.

4) Eid Get together:

There was a special Eid Milan organised for New Associates of SIO Bhiwandi Unit on 26th August. A video show was  organased and the delegates were inspired after watching Janaab Abdul Waheed Shaikh (Ex President SIO Mumbai Division) delivering speech on the topic “Aey nawjawan Teri Manzil Kahan, Aur tu Gum Kahan”. The program concluded with a brief introduction of SIO by Brother Hamza Madoo (District Organiser – Thane)
