Belief, Values and Issues – the way Dawah is doneAndhra Pradesh chapter of Students’ Islamic Organisation of India organized a state-level Dawah training camp on 1st May 2013 at IIC, Banjara hills. About 200 students attended the camp. The program started with a lecture on ‘Daee ke Ausaaf’ by Br.Abdur Rahman Suffi, Organizing Sec., of SIO AP followed by inaugural words by Br.Kareemuddin, Dawah Sec., of SIO AP. An insight into current Dawah methodologies was presented by Mr.Tariq Muneer, Director of IIC. A panel discussion on ‘Today’s society and our Dawah approach’ was moderated by Br.Shareef , He focussed on current issues such as corruption, rapes, political system to name a few and discussed the Islamic solution for the same. Jb.Subhan, District Organiser of JIH-Nellore dealt with topic ‘Classical Ideologies and its failures’.

Post lunch, Dr.Faheemuddin, Ex General Secretary of SIO spoke on ‘Neo Spiritual movements and their impacts on society’. This was followed by a presentation on ‘Modern ideologies and Dawah’ by Br.Suhail. The program concluded by Presidential speech of Br. Iqbal Hussain, Zonal President of SIO A.P in which he stressed on the obligation of every muslim to perform Dawah . He urged students to adopt the BVI model in Dawah i.e., Belief, Values and Issues.
