All India Zonal Advisory Council Camp at Hyderabad

The 3-day All India Zonal Advisory Council members meet held from 25th to 27th October 2013 at Hyderabad concluded with the Presidential address of Chief Patron of SIO, Syed Jalaluddin Umri. Mr. Umri laid emphasis on the intellectual needs of the movement in today’s times and urged the audience to prepare themselves for this challenge. He also stressed upon strengthening our relationship with the creator of the universe.

The Zonal Advisory Council (ZAC) is the top-most decision making body of the states. This was the first-of-it’s kind of meet during the current term where ZAC members across the states assembled at Hyderabad. Attended by around 100 members, the meet intended to debate on various national issues, to study the strategies of Islamic movement and to explore various dimensions of students politics etc.

The program started with Inaugural words by General Secretary of SIO, Br. Sarwar Hasan. An important discussion on ‘Strategy of Islamic movement’ was dealt by Dr. Nejatullah Siddiqi, Dr. Hasan Raza and Syed Sadat Husaini followed by an open discussion.

SIO’s Central Advisory Council member Br. Mujahid ul Islam lead a panel discussion and discussed various aspects of students politics and it’s impact on youth. Parallel discussions on topics such as membership syllabus, SIO publication, and structural changes were also conducted.

The evening time was spent in cultural activities wherein members exhibited their talents through various cultural tools. Others who spoke during the meet include S. Ameenul Hasan, Hafiz Faezuddin, Syed Shujat Husaini, Sharique Ansar, etc.
